A library card is required to borrow materials. A card may be issued without charge to residents and property owners in Sanilac District Library's service area of Carsonville-Port Sanilac School District, Sanilac Township and Forester Township following SDL's Library Card Application Policy. 

There is a Nonresident Fee of $50 per card per year for library cards issued to people who do not own property in SDL's library district. 

Your SDL Card or Driver's License is required at time of service.

Library cards must be scanned into SDL's circulation system before every transaction. As an alternative, your Driver's License barcode may be scanned instead of your library card to borrow items. Scanning your library card or driver's license ensures accuracy.
